Avery Clifton, aka Ahyve, is one part of the large Bay Area arts collective On Task Family, responsible for producing some good to great videos for local acts, especially Main Attrakionz (Ave himself is responsible for “Legion of Doom” and “Still the Legion”, among others). Ahyve is also a gifted beatmaker, who is not only set to release his own mixtape in two days, Volume 3, but also has some more high profile work lined up for later in the year. Here he takes the “cloud rap” aesthetic and pushes it to new heights, with some great raps from Squadda and Mondre (“two man horror film/Freddy vs. Jason”, FTW). Better keep an ear out for this kid.
